Before becoming a lawyer, I trained and worked in accounting, including at a large international forensic accounting firm where I contributed to expert quantification reports in litigation and insurance matters. That experience continues to shape how I practise today. I am comfortable navigating detailed financial records, identifying inconsistencies, and translating technical information into practical advice that clients can understand and rely on.
I have practised family law for a decade, representing clients in matters resolved through negotiation and in court. A significant portion of my work involves family-owned and closely held businesses, where financial structure, valuation, and income determination require careful attention. While the analysis can be detailed, I remain mindful that these issues affect real families and their long-term stability. I approach each matter with care and respect, ensuring that financial decisions support the overall direction of the matter rather than complicate it.
